The CASPIAN Certificate in Obesity Medicine is a practical certificate course that teaches registered physicians to treat obesity in the GLP-1 era, tuned for Indian practice. It runs over twelve monthly in-person modules in Hyderabad, built around the CASPIAN clinical framework (Classify, Assess, Screen, Personalise, Intervene, Anchor, Nurture), with a course textbook, assessments and a certificate on completion.
The course is offered by Caspian Healthcare Foundation (CHF), a public charitable trust registered at Hyderabad (Doct. No. 30/2023, Book IV, SRO Golconda), and is directed by Dr Khizer Hussain Junaidy, MD, Diabetologist and Bariatric Physician, with SCOPE Certification from the World Obesity Federation.
The course is funded entirely by participants' tuition, with no pharmaceutical or commercial sponsorship of content, faculty or assessment. It is case-based and clinic-ready, designed so that doctors can use what they learn the same week.
